INTUITIVE AND
EASY TO USE

ALERTWest logged-in users can simply click on images to move and/or zoom cameras. Logged-in users also have the ability to control multiple cameras from a single webpage, with the ability to utilize advanced location and camera search tools.

3RD PARTY
CAMERA INTEGRATIONS

ALERTWest can integrate existing camera networks. We are already integrating Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) cameras and state Department of Transportation (DOT) cameras. If you already have a camera deployed, bring it into the ALERTWest interface.

HISTORICAL ARCHIVE FOOTAGE

As part of our camera installation process, we have implemented a comprehensive approach to capture and store all camera images. This initiative allows us to create a historical archive of footage that serves as a valuable resource. The repository of historical imagery plays a crucial role in fire investigations, research, and training.

AI WILDFIRE DETECTION

Within the ALERTWest Situational Awareness Platform, you can benefit from the inclusion of AI wildfire detection, which was built with the expertise of the partnership between CAL FIRE and ALERTCalifornia.

DAY TIME AI

ALERTWest's daytime AI Wildfire Detection model routinely beats 911 call reporting over 30% of the time, according to feedback from CAL FIRE as part of the partnership with ALERTCalifornia.

NIGHT TIME AI

ALERTWest's nighttime AI Wildfire Detection model has proven extremely effective, with one camera even detecting a structure fire over 50 miles away. Another camera enhanced coverage for a rural area detecting a fire seven hours before the first 911 call.

1 FIRE = 1 ALERT

ALERTWest's platform boasts a remarkable accuracy rate by utilizing our advanced proprietary detection filtering system plus human in the loop to ensure 1 fire = 1 alert. This multilayered approach ensures that alerts are genuine and actionable, minimizing false alarms.

OPERATIONS CENTER

Operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; technicians support all users’ needs, continuously monitor the camera system, and AI detections.

AI DETECTION REVIEW AND CONFIRMATION

Operations Center Technicians review all new detections immediately. Technicians suppress any false detections and generate alerts around confirmed positive detections to assist in quicker response and suppression times.

USER MANAGEMENT AND ONBOARDING

The ALERTWest Operations Center will onboard and issue credentials to all new users. User accounts are typically added within the same day of the request. After successful account creation, a 1-hour user onboarding training is scheduled where Operations Center Supervisors walk users through all the system components and answer any questions.

COMPILING USER FEEDBACK

ALERTWest always welcomes system feedback, and we actively seek it in order to provide the best possible product. Good feedback is always appreciated, but critical feedback is actionable. Many of the features developed in our system were directly from our users' feedback.

SUPPORT

We provide support every step of the way. Whether your building a network from scratch, bringing an existing network to the platform, or just looking to deploy a mobile unit. We are here to support you.

SITE INSTALLATION

ALERTWest is dedicated to providing comprehensive services every step of the way to install, maintain, and keep cameras online. We provide 24/7 user support during high-fire activity. ALERTWest fabricates and kits all materials in-house. We follow practices to ensure camera longevity and regularly perform preventative maintenance and repair on cameras. Our team works hard to keep cameras online, with over a 99% uptime.

VIEWSHED ANALYSIS

ALERTWest is dedicated to installing cameras in high-fire threat areas, and our team of professionals conducts thorough viewshed analysis in order to identify prospective sites and the terrain challenges that come with them. Once the viewshed analysis is complete, Project Managers work with those involved and use the viewshed analysis to conduct site visits prior to installation.

MOBILE UNITS

The ALERTWest portable camera trailer offers real-time situational awareness during wildland fires and prescribed fires. As a mobile version of the established ALERTWest camera system, it automatically integrates AI detections, weather monitoring, and remote fire line monitoring. Users can immediately access all features, ensuring fire containment and providing operational flexibility with public or private view options.
